New This Year! Teddy Bear
Parade
Grab your favorite teddy and line up at 11:45am on Sunday at Tracy Place
(Pleasant Street park, across from Mary Jane) for the Teddy Bear Parade!
Brian Doser will lead the parade with his high-energy guitar music. Your
teddy can be in a wagon, a stroller, a shoe box with a string, or just in
your arms. All ages and all teddys welcome. You can also enter our raffle
for a GIANT teddy bear from Melissa and Doug toys, donated by Mary Jane.
The parade will be followed by music at Tracy Place, where there will also
be face painting, crafts, and balloons. All events are free as part of the
Kid's Korner, brought to you by the Greater Newburyport Chamber of
Commerce Spring Festival. Co-sponsored by the Newburyport Mother's Club.
Performances are
weather dependent.

Nothing but straight ahead music to get your child up and
dancing. These classic songs were inspired by time honored
tunes sung to me by my grandmother years ago. Be careful,
you may find yourself singing along and not minding it! |

Puppeteer and Story teller
Martha Dana has been entertaining the seacoast for over 18
years. Her stories are a mix of adapted classics, and
originals. Their most important element is that they make
children laugh. |

| Rick Goldin
1 pm & 3 pm |
Kids like to have fun, and that's what Rick Goldin's music is all about. His songs feature lots of movement and child participation, and surprises and unexpected twists that keep even his youngest listeners paying close attention.
Rick's performances and recordings are lively and interactive and are enjoyed by kids, parents and teachers all over the country... at home, at school, at concerts, and in the car. |
