Dick Kaplan & The Legendary Moonlite Surfers
Enjoy their brand of Surf rock, blues and R & B.
Featured on lead vocals and guitar is EJ Ouellette and
Phyllis Fallon, Boston's swingingest lady of song! The
seven-piece ensemble also includes Johnny Battis on sax,
bassist Michael Gruen, Dick Kaplan on trumpet, Former Frank
Sinatra keyboardist Bob Kiley on Piano and Carl Bergman
on percussion.

Misfits
The Misfits are an acoustic band that specializes in traditional Celtic music. The Misfit repertoire includes:
standard Irish pub songs (Wild Rover, the Unicorn, Mermaid Song, Hills of Connamara, Whiskey in the Jar, etc.),
rousing fiddle medleys (Irish, Scottish, Appalachian, French Canadian, and originals),
60's acoustic rock (The Beatles, Bob Dylan, etc.),
contemporary folk/rock (Waterboys, Steve Earl, Saw Doctors,
etc.) and a variety of original songs.

Waterfront Park
This great free concert will be staged in Waterfront Park,
right in the heart of Historic Downtown Newburyport.
Waterfront
Park is a Private Park maintained by the Waterfront Trust. Attendees
are asked to please be respectful of the park.
Take care to preserve the plantings, grass and trees that
make Waterfront Park such a jewel in the downtown.
You may bring a blanket or a chair to enjoy the
show. Please bring chairs that are appropriate for a grassy
area.

ROUTE 95:
Take exit 57 and follow signs to downtown Newburyport.
FROM
BOSTON:
Take Route 1
north to Route 95 north to exit 57. Follow signs to
downtown Newburyport.
FROM
ROUTE 495:
Follow to Route 95, then south to exit 57. Follow
signs to downtown Newburyport.
Waterfront
Park is located directly behind the Firehouse Center for
the Arts in Market Square.

PARKING
There are 3 municipal lots downtown - which are free.
They are located at Green & Merrimac Streets, State
and Harris Streets (next to the Library) and on Prince
Place.
There are 2 lots run by the Newburyport Redevelopment
Authority which will be charging for parking. They are
located at either side of Waterfront Park along Merrimac
Street (West Lot) and Water Street (East Lot)
You may also park in legal spots on the street. If you
park in a nearby neighborhood, please be respectful of
residents and all parking laws - do not block fire
hydrants or driveways. Police will ticket or tow all cars
which are parked in illegal spaces.
